In its 12ᵗʰ year, the Meetings Industry Summit began as a positive response to the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. It is a collaboration between PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) and MPI (Meeting Professionals International). The Summit features education and networking opportunities and is the best industry update of the year, attracting over 250 people.

After a networking breakfast, this year’s event will include a motivational keynote that will create breakthrough results in your personal and professional life, followed by a choice of three break-out sessions with content from risk management, to fostering a culture of shared vision, to the latest trends and technology. The State of the Industry Panel follows lunch, and will be moderated by Tom Norwalk, President & CEO of Visit Seattle. We are honored to feature panelists, including Cathy Mason, CMP, President, The Mason Group; Kathleen Paulson, GM National Sales and Strategic Partnership, Delta Air Lines, Inc.; Michael Dominguez, Senior Vice President, Corporate Hotel Sales MGM Resorts International and the Chairman of MPI’s Board of Director, and Karen Sole, Senior Travel and Meeting Services Specialist. There will be plenty of time throughout the morning for our industry’s favorite pastime: networking!......including the pre-summit reception at Marriott Seattle Waterfront on Thursday, September 19th. This will be a dynamic meeting, created with you in mind. We Mean Business!
